
Dilip Joshi is popularly known as Jethalal Gada in one of India’s longest-running television shows, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He started his career in 1989, where he played Ramu’s character in the film Maine Pyar Kiya.

Individual Life
He belongs to a Gujarati Brahmin family from the Gosa village of Porbandar. He married Jaymala in 1987. He has two children: Niyati and Ritviq.
Joshi has done B.com from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics Mumbai, but he was interested in acting from the age of 12. He joined Little Theatre Academy Of Namdev Lahute, and his first play was Aie Ranchhod Rangila. He has also done many plays at the legendary Prithvi Theatre in Juhu, Mumbai.
Apart from acting, Joshi loves to trek, travel, and explore the world. He’s also a huge Harry Potter fan (Potterhead).

Journey
His first TV debut was in the show Galatnaama. Later he was seen as Vasu in Kabhi Yeh Kabhi Woh in 1989. He has been a part of many TV shows, including Kora Kaagaz, Hum Sub Ek Hain, Shub Mangal Savdhaan, and Meri Biwi Wonderful.
