Ursula landed her first role at the age of 13 in 2002 where she debuted in the television series Mirall Trencat as Maria. The television series Fisica o Quimica was subject to a lot of controversies but she was acclaimed for her role as Ruth Gomez in it.
In the year 2014, she played Margarita de Austria in the historical series Isabel and in the very same year her career marked a milestone when she received the Untameable award at the Sitges film festival making her the first actress in history to receive the award. In March 2015, she was cast in the movie Perdiendo el Norte alongside actors Blanca Suarez and Yon Gonzalez for which was awarded the Ciudad de Alicante Award, an award created to encourage young talents. In December 2015 she landed a main role in the thriller series La Embajada which was written by the creators of Gran Hotel.
In 2016, she returned to the role of Margarita de Austria in La Corona Partida, a sequel to the Isabel and Carlos, Rey Emperador trilogy.
She gained international fame for her role in the series La Casa de Papel which served as the breakthrough to her career. In the series, she plays Tokyo, a runaway robber who is scouted by the professor to include in his plan. Her role in this series landed her a nomination for Best Actress in a TV series. The show itself won the Best Drama Series at the 46th International Emmy Awards and is currently the most viewed non- English speaking series on Netflix.
