    Vicky Kaushal Belongs to a in a chawl in suburban Mumbai. His Father Shayam kaushal was a stunt man when he was born and His mother Veena Kaushal is a Homemaker. Later his father became a director of Bollywood and Hollywood Action films and his younger brother Sunny Kaushal is an assistant director. His family is from Punjab.     Since childhood Vicky wants to become an actor he is very much interested in Studying, watching fims and playing cricket. He took part in many competition in his school days. He never thought of becoming an actor until college days. During his college he went to a company for industrial visits where they saw people are sitting in front of the PC and working for 9 Hours, there he decided that he would not be able to do an 9 hour job and sitting in front of PC.

    He contemplated acting at Kishore Namit Kapoor’s institute and functioned as an associate chief to Anurag Kashyap in the two-section wrongdoing show Gangs of Wasseypur (2012).     Vicky Kaushal played his first leading role in the autonomous show Masaan (2015) coordinated by Neeraj Ghaywan. Kaushal and Ghaywan were the two associates on Gangs of Wasseypur, and he was cast in the film after Rajkummar Rao pulled out. The film was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, where it won two honors, including the FIPRESCI Prize.
